  • Touched by Love -- Fact-based story about a young nurse (Deborah Raffin) who takes it upon herself to bring a teenage victim of cerebral palsy (Diane Lane) out of her deep depression, partly through an extraordinary exchange of letters with Elvis Presley. Directed by Gus Trikonis, the acting is very credible and the story is told with just the right balance of emotion and sentimentality. Rare, immensely enjoyable family movie. (A-I) (PG) ( 1980 )
