Tom Horn -- Frontier hero at the end of his career (Steve McQueen) is hired by a group of ranchers to stop some rustlers, a job he performs with such murderous zeal that they decide to get rid of him by framing him for murder. Though director William Wiard fails to provide much dramatic steam, McQueen's solid performance raises the material a notch above the standard Western. Some graphic violence. (A-III) (R) ( 1980 )
