  • Star Trek V: The Final Frontier -- Messianic Vulcan (Laurence Luckinbill) hogties the Enterprise's crew and other interplanetary hams, setting a course through the Great Barrier for a meeting with God. Directed by William Shatner, the narrative is suspenseless and overwrought with senseless Klingon attacks. Best scenes feature comedic banter between crew members. Minimal rough language, silly comic-book violence. (A-II) (PG) ( 1989 )
