  • Muscle Beach Party -- Sun-baked youth comedy in which an Italian contessa (Luciana Paluzzi) goes after a muscle-bound he-man (Rock Stevens aka Peter Lupus), then falls for a surfer (Frankie Avalon) who ultimately turns back to his girlfriend (Annette Funicello). Directed by William Asher, the banal proceedings terminate in a massive brawl halted sternly by Peter Lorre in his last screen appearance. Slapstick violence and sexual innuendo. (A-II) (br) ( 1964 )
