  • Mummy's Hand, The -- Horror sequel to "The Mummy" has a penniless American archaeologist (Dick Foran) and his breezy pal (Wallace Ford) talk a magician (Cecil Kellaway) into financing a search for the lost tomb of an Egyptian princess but uncover instead the living mummy, Kharis (Tom Tyler), who has been guarding the princess for 3,000 years. Directed by Christy Cabanne, the eerie proceedings are paced with some cheerful comedy and the unpretentious results prove quite entertaining. Stylized violence, threatening situations and some scary visuals. (A-II) (br) ( 1940 )
