  • Life with Mikey -- An irresponsible former child star (Michael J. Fox) becomes a substitute father figure when he turns a sassy, 10-year-old pickpocket (Christina Vidal) into a cookie commercial star in hopes of salvaging his nearly bankrupt juvenile talent agency. Director James Lapin gets limited comic mileage out of the odd coupling though the twosome's positive changes become mildly heartwarming. Dysfunctional family circumstances. (A-II) (PG) ( 1993 )

    A-I -- general patronage;
    A-II -- adults and adolescents;
    A-III -- adults;
    L -- limited adult audience, films whose problematic content many adults would find troubling. L replaces the previous classification, A-IV.
