  • Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows -- Impressive docudrama about famed singer Judy Garland (played by Judy Davis) which chronicles the chanteuse's successful yet troubled life from her youth until her tragic death, and features Garland's actual singing voice. Based on the memoir by Garland's second daughter, Lorna Luft, director Robert Allen Ackerman's film engrosses with a well-crafted screenplay and dynamic performances, although the second part lags somewhat. Mature content including prescription drug addiction. A-III -- adults. Not rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. 2001
