  • Eye for an Eye -- When the cold-blooded murderer (Kiefer Sutherland) of her teenage daughter is freed on a legal technicality, then threatens her five-year-old, a terrified mother (Sally Field) plots to kill him and get away with it. Director John Schlesinger's emotionally manipulative melodrama blurs the distinction between pre-meditated murder and justified self-defense. Brief but intense violence including rape, ambiguous treatment of murder and intermittent rough language. (A-IV) (R) ( 1996 )
