Dead Are Alive, The -- Muddled European thriller about a series of murders occurring around the Etruscan excavations of an archaeologist (Alex Cord) who has some enemies (Samantha Eggar and John Marley). Director Armando Crispino's treatment of the story's abundant sex and violence can only be described as neo-paleolithic. (O) (R) ( 1972 )
