Dawn Patrol, The -- Remake of the 1930 movie about World War I fighter pilots in a British squadron whose stressed commander (Basil Rathbone) is replaced by one of the pilots (Errol Flynn). Directed by Edmund Goulding, the heroics here lack the raw edge of the original, though the acting is much more polished and the action better paced with sardonic humor. Wartime violence.
